What counts as a correction
- A formula, implementation or unit-handling error.
- A factual source that is wrong, out of date or attached to the wrong value.
- An explanation that misstates an assumption, a limitation or what a result means.
- A page element that prevents a calculator from being used or understood, including an accessibility barrier.
How a report is checked
A reported problem is reproduced with the same inputs, then compared with the calculator’s formula, its worked examples and its test values. A fix corrects the implementation and adds or updates the tests, so the same error is unlikely to return.
Changes that alter a result
When a correction changes the method or the meaning of a result, the explanation, methodology or source note on the affected page is revised as well — the displayed number is never changed silently on its own. Reports can be sent through the contact page.
